:-( having 2 leave some of it behind

With regrets I left this closet a mess. There was so much to do and pack before heading back to the US for a few months. I promise, I promise to tidy it up when I return. See what happens when you have too many clothes. Again what's a girl to do? ;-)

String o'beads

Daly has started something.... a fascination with beads. I love these beads I found a few weeks ago at the Winchester Market. They are great against this black tunic or with even a white or ivory one. They are a bit long but I will be clever for sure ;-)

Zara and Planet

Charity shops are always great and the better the area the better deals you will find. I found this cute little top by Zara in a shop today in Winchester and luckily enough I found the perfect black velvet A-line skirt from Planet to add to it. Both pieces are nice and clean and I look forward to wearing this outfit.

SaVE tHE QUeeN

SAVE THE QUEEN! I really love this brand. It's a bit expensive but the looks are incredible. First spotted STQ on a customer back when I worked for Beale's--crazy, eccentric and colourful. The look is so fun. I also like their sister style, LeGatte. They have great colouful and different pieces as well.

Scarves everywhere

Istanbul is a great place to collect beautiful and colourful scarves for just about any look. Too bad on the day Mr. Grumpy (aka my bf Ben) was not in a mood to shop. There were so many scarves I really wanted but this one was the only one I got. Hmmm I will leave him at home next time and I will get as many as I please.

I Heart Scarves

Scarves are brilliant and the larger the better! I love this oddly coloured one I found at a bazaar in Istanbul lastweek. The pattern is very nice and the purplish-fuschia mix is perfect. Very bold and sweet..........

Marks and Sparks

Black is so cool and what better way to pull it off than in this cool cowl modular tee by M&S. It looks really good with a slim black skirt that I bought to go with it. The looks is very versatile and go almost anywhere.

Karen Millen black satin top

This black flounce single sleeve top is by Karen Millen. Now I just need to find the right slim skirt or trousers to go with it. The look is very Sheree from Real Housewives of Atlanta. Too bad this photo does not do real justice for this lovely top.

Holiday prep shopping

This is something that I normally frown on doing--pre holiday shopping. Sure you buy the neccessities but save your molah for the holiday. Last weekend I was in New Look and could not resist this two cute tops. I love tunics and the waterfall look even though I am a wee short for them. This charcoal grey hanky top will look great with slim jeans and heels and accented with a scarf and a cool hat.
The J'adore Paris tee will be cute for my holiday to where else--Paris. I've always loved those striped Parisian look tees. Both these were £18!

Beauties on budget

Came across this beautiful satiny blue top at Primark Oxford St. Wasn't so sure at first until I tried it on. Looks great and will be beautiful with a grey or black slim skirt. Seen a lot of celebs with this style of dress by Roland Mouret I think. Glad to find this deal at £8!
I have been looking everywhere for the perfect black simple jacket that's not too expensive and over the top. Glad I found this one at Primark as well. Just something to dress up a look. Still looking for the black boucle.

Cheetah print jewellery

This is such a cool cheetah print jewellery set. You can keep this look simple with a plain white cotton blouse and skirt oe jeans. The print certainly brings out any look too black or too white.

Animal skin halter

This is such a cute little halter top I found at TJMaxx in Altanta over the summer. Love the print and the beading at the neck. Very nice and exotic. This too will look good with jeans and possibly some reddish jewellery will give it that Kenyan safari look to bring it out more.

Zaraific!

Hmmm at first I seriously had doubts about this white blouse. The sleeves are cool and make it different but is this really gonna look great on a 5'3 body? Yes it does! Looks spectacular paired with jeans and heels or a nice black slim skirt. This one's from Zara for £9.99.
As we must know yes I am obesessed with pinks or at least the brighter shades of pink. I really love this colour on me. Love this satin blouse but will be switching out the stone buttons as I never fancied stone buttons on clothing that much. Got this one at Matalan for a fiver. Now I just need to find the perfect short black boucle jacket and skirt to go with it.
The gold lame jacket top I really really love. It's also from Zara clearanced at £12.99! Looks lovely on and especially with jeans and heels. Very nice going out top.
New Year holiday shopping is always the best because you find the cutest things.

Bargains to be had

I really love to shop and one of the best things is to find a bargain. Well there are many bargains to be found at some of the not so expensive shops around London such as Matalan and Primark. Sure it's cheap but it's cute and you don't have to worry about the wear of it. I found these tops all for under 12 quid! Awesome!
I love the cute white top with attached bows at the sleeves--just looking for the perfect sexy black pencil skirt to go with it and the hot pink shrug will look really good paired with black and white.
Love the look and feel of the red and blue satiny tops that will go great under a black jacket and accented with silver jewellery.
Ok no more clothes!

Summer social season

This summer I am planning a fabulous social season as this is my last year in the United Kingdom and I want to make it one hell of a holiday.
I'm really wanting to attend Royal Ascot and you know that means great fun and fashions to be seen. I love this pink ombre party dress by Jenelle John Lewis. I am really hoping I can get this wear this one with my lovely black and pinstipe pink straw hat. They would go together wonderfully. I am so looking forward to this event. Or at least I hope to go!
After Royal Ascot I am thinking about a few other races--not so sure this yet.
A must for me is Wimbledon. Just the other day I finally received my application to apply for the ticket lottery. Hope we can get in. Would be great to see Venus and Serena and Andy and Roger in live action. Fingers crossed things will go well.
Whoa hoooo!
